Nick Halliday

Research Assistant

Nick has been employed in the field of plankton ecology since 1977. In his current work for the MBA, part of the laboratory’s contribution to the NERC Oceans 2025 Western Observatory, he is responsible for the plankton sampling at the three long-term, offshore stations (L4, L5 and E1), the analysis and data processing of the samples. In general he provides expertise in the sea-going sampling, and the ecology and identification of plankton and larval fish.
